Harrisonburg, Virginia Photographer: The Miller Sisters

For those of you who are familiar with the Harrisonburg area, you know how amazing the surrounding mountains are. One of my favorite things to do is to drive north on Rt. 42 through all the hills. The views are amazing. So I was a little internally excited as I drove up this very road with the Miller sisters, Kendra and Kelsey.

Having driven up this road several times I've picked out a couple houses/ locations that I want to live at because I'm obsessed with the view. One of these houses is this white house situated high up on a hill; I always think about how amazing the panorama must be. So as we got close to it I made a comment to Kendra and Kelsey how I want to live in that house. Well, much to my surprise and delight, this was their Aunt and Uncle's house where we were doing the photoshoot!

Even though it was cold and windy on top of the hill, the girls were great as I dragged them around. These pictures were taken as gifts for their parents upcoming 30th wedding anniversary.

Key West Photographer: A Week in Paradise (Part 2)

The rest of the week in Key West was amazing. The vacation as a whole was amazing. It was like a summer tease because all we did was relax. No assignments, no tests, just hanging out and relaxing. Going back to school is going to be hard. Even thinking about things that I should say on this post is hard cause I just don't want to do any work! I'll just get straight to the point and post my pictures. I put some more of the house here so you could get a feel for where we stayed.

Key West Photographer: A Week in Paradise (Part 1)

It's Spring Break 2011! This year maybe thousands of college students will head to a tropical location for spring break. Many will go with family, many will go with friends. I have had an awesome time hanging out with my girlfriends family and two other families in Key West, FL. Our house is actually in Summerland Key, which is about 25 minutes outside of Key West proper.

The house is located right off the Atlantic Ocean, literally it's our backyard. We have kayaks, paddleboards, jet skis and a canoe. Sometimes we go swimming by our house, but some of us are a little scared  of the sharks (yes this video was taken at our house). On Tuesday we got the opportunity to go snorkeling off a reef. I had never done this before, so I was a little nervous. It was amazing. When you look at the pictures, check out the water color. Literally it was blue. I had never seen water that color before. Also, while I was snorkeling I saw a 5 ft(ish) shark. I tried to chase it (a little dumb?), but it jetted away from me.

Not kidding, this is literally what the water looked like
